About Divinely Chosen

Every website has a story—ours began twenty years ago as a single handwritten line in my Franklin Planner: “One day, every kid will sit at the head of the table.” That ink turned into a balance sheet, then into a movement. Today, Divinely Chosen proves that your zip code should never outrank your ideas. I attended an underserved elementary school that performed below state level; the only post-graduation roadmap anyone showed me was trade school. I built Divinely Chosen in 2025 to widen that map. Our Sacramento-based 501(c)(3) runs eight-week after-school “mini-corporations” where under-resourced 3rd–5th graders build real products, manage live budgets, and pitch to paying customers—proving intelligence, not background, writes the résumé, and that trades stay a choice, never a default.

We don’t simulate business—we run one. Every ledger, supplier invoice, and customer review is real, so when graduation arrives, trades remain one path among many, not the only exit.
